Second body tutorial! Not much practical drawing tips here but some important bits about how gravity and posture can affect your drawing. As always, more to come!
Also, let's not talk about how my surname is Newton and I'm fixating on gravity. #historyjokes
Your tutorials are so helpful and adorable!
Thank you for making these lovely tutorials!! They really help me figure out how to pose people.
I love Sam's protest. Of course it isn't going to accomplish anything, but it's only fair that you get at least a bitchface for using him as a heavy, awkward parcel.
Haha, I know! I think I lied outright to him there... of course I'd use him again... there's nothing he can do to stop it!
Yay, tutorial! These are actually really helpful to me because I'm absolutely awful at drawing people. They never quite look like, well, people! I am getting better though! Some of that might be a result of being an Archaeology student and occasionally staring at skeletons. And drawing figure sketches. Lots of figure sketches.
I am still stumped by the putting together of head/body/hands in reasonable proportions. Also, hands in general. Hands are weird.
Please use him in more examples!
super helpful thank you!!
This is so helpful thank you
So glad you are still making these! They have been helping me alot with trying draw a character looking like an actual human and not a rectangle with a head. Lol Thanks so much for making these! They are really great/nice of you to od!
So glad they are useful! You're very welcome, honey..
Of course they're useful!! I love trying to draw your style and then my style.....it's a favourite pass time of mine when I need a break from worrying about graduating and where to go to college and all that real world crap.
Aww, that's nice to hear. Hope you find the college that's right for you! I'm sure wherever you go you'll love once the initial stress calms down..
Anytime you need to hear it, I'll be here. And yeah, things have gotten way less stressful in that area. Part of the problem was that I kept changing my mind. Makes it kind of hard to find a course. And thank-you so much!
That was actually really useful and I might remember some of these for the future. Most tutorials are too much sabot how to draw something very specific so I rarely can take sth away from them the moment I see them. This was great however, not too long and I loved your little funny examples.
Awesome! Very glad to hear it! Haha I know.. or some utorials the artist is so bloody good at what they do that I come away from the tutorial thinking I need to practice for ten more years before that tutorial will be useful.. But yeah, that's good to hear, to be honest I'm a little too lazy to go into an in depth tutorial (something like digital colouring... eek ) but short tutorials like this are fun.. and if they help others: all good! If not.. at least I haven't spent too much time on them.
Great tutorial and good use of those characters. The blue figure in the upper left reminds me of Dean.
You should draw Dean carrying him with ease and captain america struggling with his moose weight
thanks for the tutorial
You are. Adorable. And helpful. And brilliantly talented. Thank you for this.
NO! Please use Dean, Sam, and Captain America in more examples. XD Maybe throw in a little Cas? lol Love the tutorials btw
Haha, they couldn't stop me even if they tried!
GOD DAMNIT BIRD!
why are you so usefull seriously
I'm beginnen to think you do this thangs when I start drawing stuff.
WHY ARE YOU WATCHING ME?
Wow this is really helpful, thank you!!! C:
