Haha, I had to. I enjoyed this ep a sick, twisted sort of way. Hallucifer was just.. beautiful.. And was that Misha I saw in the trailer for the next ep? I thought he wasn't due back til 7x17? Hey, whatever, if they wanna bring him back sooner I have no complaints.
ALSO. Was I the only one sitting there during Jeff's monologue at the end with my jaw on the floor? To paraphrase, he said "I've been where you are, depressed and a drunken suicidal mess over a supernatural being that I loved and that I'd do anything to get back." The writers are so f***ing with Destiel fans. Just sayin'.
So I actually read this comic before I saw the episode...which I just finished...and you should know that when this scene came up, I was trying to fight off laughter because it was all very serious and poor Sam and all, but this comic wouldn't get out of my head... I also saw the Motel Room Tombola bit. I agree, they totally play that... Thank you for making such fun comics. I need to learn to stop reading them before I've seen the episode they refer to, though. I think I'm doing pretty well so far with the one for episode 21... ~DawnFire~ PS: Hallucifer tends to be hilarious with or without singing...but I'm kind of waiting for him to sing now...wonder if he ever does?

Haha, did you? Yeah, that'll ruin you for this scene for sure!
You're welcome! Haha, yes.. be strong - resist!
ps. He does! At the beginning of possibly the episode after this one? Anyway, he's GENIUS in the following episode.

Oh, and look at that--he IS singing! It's awesome...I don't know why, but lately, the bad guys (like the Leviathans and Hallucifer) are pretty hilarious. Not all the time, of course, but most of it...it certainly makes a change!

Yeah, they're a bit melodramatic.. 'Specially Dick.

Yeah, it did It was fun, though. Except for the conflicting hilarity and horror/sympathy. That was rather...interesting to deal with. ...I think my head canon is now that after he finishes laughing evilly, he waits in relative silence for a bit (Sam stays sitting on his burning bed and twitching, poor guy), and then, just when Sam thinks he's going to be left alone...out comes the microphone. ...I think that might actually be extremely canonically plausible. Wow. Only on SPN.
I'm trying...I didn't manage to unsee something about Cas and watching bees, though. On the other hand, I have no idea what it's about. And I've been catching up on the series from season 1 with spoilers all the way through, so...it's not so unusual. Seriously, I knew stuff like who Cas was and that Dean died and came back to life (and possibly even that Sam lost his soul) back when I was about halfway through season one. AND I knew about the Godstiel thing when I was on season six. I don't even know what I'm doing trying to avoid spoilers. I'd have to avoid internet and friends and just watch obsessively to actually watch completely unspoiled. It's a bit ridiculous... (sorry about the rant, by the way. I'm kind of sleep-deprived, though not as badly as Sam is in the episode I'm currently watching. Hopefully my rant was at least somewhat amusing...)
He does? He does. Or at least, Sam says he's been singing "Stairway to Heaven" 50 times in a row. No wonder Sam's twitchy. But we don't see him...or at least, I haven't yet...and there are only six minutes left in the episode. Well, I'll just hold out hope for the next episode, I guess...

Lucifer episodes are so hard to deal with! How to you feel sorry for Sam and laugh your head off at Lucifer simultaneously? It was PAINFUL.
Yeah, its a shame, but hopefully it doesn't ruin your viewing pleasure too much! I was lucky in that I started watching when three seasons had been released but I knew nothing of the online fandom.. my friend bought the box sets and we tore through them.. then about seson4/ 5 I started finding the online presence and trying to keep up with the show online even if it wasn't on tv in the UK. And drawing toons of course. That meant fans started finding me.
I thought he sang a 'Good Morning' song to Sam at the beginning of one episode. But I'm not sure if you've seen that episode yet so I'll say no more.
